St. Patrick Medal

St Patrick Medal, carved on both sides.  

Shown on a Medium Rolo Chain.

Saint Patrick's use of the shamrock as an illustration of the Holy Trinity is remembered in this two sided silver medal. Just under an inch in diameter, the front shows Patrick with his bishop's crozier and another symbol of Ireland, the harp. The reverse is a Celtic Cross decorated with three Trinity knots and an endless knot on the shaft. The artwork is a collaboration between Walker Metalsmiths and Jack Brown, who carved the original model in deer antler.
