Born & raised in Andover, NY, Abram began as a part-time apprentice at Walker's Celtic Jewelry while he was still in high school. Now a full time bench jeweler, he focuses mainly on production casting and finishing, stone-setting, cutting and polishing the Iona bloodstone and marble cabochons for our Churaich and I mo Chridhe rings, along with some custom jewelry orders. He also has a wealth of experience with construction and general repairs -- so he's become our resident "fix-it" guy as well. It's not uncommon to find him up a ladder changing filters and light bulbs, repairing shop equipment, or jumping in to help wherever he can. Abram is also an active, adventure-seeking outdoorsman: if the sun's shining you might find him outside biking, hiking, hunting, rock-climbing, kayaking, or running. He completed a 3 month survival training course through National Outdoor Leadership School in Arizona in 2015, and later spent a year with Americorp assisting with FEMA. Abram is also a music lover. He plays piano, drums, guitar and is our "shop DJ," providing everyone in the workshop with an eclectic mix ranging anywhere from Sinatra to Ambient Electronica.
