This design is an adaptation of a key pattern detail from the medieval Irish book of MacDurnan. This pocket gospel miniature is inscribed indicating that it was commissioned by, or possibly created personally by Máel Bright MacDurnan, Abbot of Armagh in the late 9th century. This Pendant comes on a 18" cable chain.
