Boulder Opal and Heart Knot Pendant in Sterling Silver
Boulder opal is among the most dramatic of natural stones: each piece carries its own landscape of earthy browns, deep amber, and flashes of blue fire locked within the host ironstone matrix. This custom pendant sets an irregular boulder opal cabochon in a sterling silver bezel, letting the stone's natural form speak for itself. Below the stone, a Celtic heart knot openwork panel adds a layer of meaning — the continuous, interlaced curves of the heart knot long associated with enduring love and connection in Celtic metalwork tradition. Three 18K yellow gold beads accent the top and two more flank the base, warming the silver and drawing the eye to the knot panel below.
MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Handcrafted in sterling silver with 18K yellow gold bead accents at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Pendant measures 1 1/4" tall × 7/8" wide. Comes with an 18" sterling silver cable chain; other lengths and styles available upon request.

1-year craftsmanship warranty on all Walker Metalsmiths jewelry. Within the first year, we cover manufacturing defects, prong checks, polishing, chain repairs, and normal-wear fixes at no charge.
After the first year, we still service every piece we've ever made; a small fee may apply depending on the repair. All work is done by our own jewelers in Andover, NY.
Not covered: damage from chemicals, chlorine, high-impact use, abusive wear, center-stone damage, or accidental loss.
Store pieces in a clean, dry, closed location (jewelry box, bag, or pouch) to slow tarnishing and prevent scratches.
For sterling silver, lightly wipe with a polishing cloth like the Sunshine Polishing Cloth. For gold, use jewelry-cleaning solutions following manufacturer instructions.
Remove jewelry before swimming, sports, gardening, or using household chemicals. Apply lotions and perfumes before putting jewelry on, not after.
