Pectoral Cross

A pectoral cross is a large cross worn on the chest (from the Latin pectus, meaning "chest"). Traditionally worn by bishops, abbots, and clergy as both a symbol of office and declaration of faith, pectoral crosses are also worn by laypeople who wish to make a visible statement of their Christian faith and Celtic heritage.
