Newgrange Kerbstone Earrings in Sterling Silver
This original Walker Metalsmiths design is inspired by the K1 Kerbstone, the great entrance stone at Newgrange in County Meath, Ireland. Covered in triple spirals, diamond lozenges, and serpentine scrollwork, the K1 is among the most recognizable artifacts of Neolithic Irish art, carved more than 5,000 years ago. Archaeologists originally considered Newgrange a passage tomb, but it is now understood to be far more: an ancient temple with deep astrological, spiritual, and ceremonial significance, aligned precisely to capture the winter solstice sunrise.

Handcrafted in .925 sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Original design by our craftsman John McHenry. Earrings measure 23mm (15/16") tall x 9mm (3/8") wide.

1-year craftsmanship warranty on all Walker Metalsmiths jewelry. Within the first year, we cover manufacturing defects, prong checks, polishing, chain repairs, and normal-wear fixes at no charge.
After the first year, we still service every piece we've ever made; a small fee may apply depending on the repair. All work is done by our own jewelers in Andover, NY.
Not covered: damage from chemicals, chlorine, high-impact use, abusive wear, center-stone damage, or accidental loss.
Store pieces in a clean, dry, closed location (jewelry box, bag, or pouch) to slow tarnishing and prevent scratches.
For sterling silver, lightly wipe with a polishing cloth like the Sunshine Polishing Cloth. For gold, use jewelry-cleaning solutions following manufacturer instructions.
Remove jewelry before swimming, sports, gardening, or using household chemicals. Apply lotions and perfumes before putting jewelry on, not after.
