Stephen Walker created the Father's Knot after a soon-to-be father walked into the shop searching for a symbol of fatherhood. The result weaves three meanings into one form: an eternity knot at the center for the unending bond between parent and child, an acorn silhouette for strength and potential, and a subtle heart tracing through the continuous path. With your mind's eye, you'll find more meaning that speaks to you personally.
This personalized version features up to 8 engraving spots along the knotwork strands for family names, dates, or a personal message. Engraving font: Cambria. For custom engraving requests beyond the standard spots, email service@walkermetalsmiths.com.
Available in Small and Large, as a pendant or key ring, in Bright or Brush Polish finish. If you choose the cord option, this pendant will not have a chain bale.

Handcrafted in sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Large: 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" (41mm x 27mm). Cast using the lost wax method and hand finished in our studio.

We ship within 48 hours on business days from our Andover, NY workshop. USPS Priority (3-7 business days) is standard; FedEx and USPS Express upgrades available at checkout. Personalized items take 1-3 extra days; some made-to-order pieces take 1-3 weeks.
International shipping to Canada is $48. Other international orders are not eligible for free shipping.
30-day returns on unworn items in new condition. Customer pays return shipping. Exception: special and personalized orders are not refundable.
Exchanges: we cover domestic First Class shipping back to you on your first exchange. Exchanges ship once your return is received.
Free ring sizing within 90 days of purchase (first sizing; not available on sale or discontinued rings).
1-year craftsmanship warranty on all Walker Metalsmiths jewelry. Within the first year, we cover manufacturing defects, prong checks, polishing, chain repairs, and normal-wear fixes at no charge.
After the first year, we still service every piece we've ever made; a small fee may apply depending on the repair. All work is done by our own jewelers in Andover, NY.
Not covered: damage from chemicals, chlorine, high-impact use, abusive wear, center-stone damage, or accidental loss.
Store pieces in a clean, dry, closed location (jewelry box, bag, or pouch) to slow tarnishing and prevent scratches.
For sterling silver, lightly wipe with a polishing cloth like the Sunshine Polishing Cloth. For gold, use jewelry-cleaning solutions following manufacturer instructions.
Remove jewelry before swimming, sports, gardening, or using household chemicals. Apply lotions and perfumes before putting jewelry on, not after.
