Ceol Mo Chridhe Ring in 14K Gold
Ceol mo Chridhe — "Music of My Heart" in Scottish Gaelic — gives this ring both its name and its spirit. Hearts have been part of Scottish and Irish decorative art since the late medieval period. Around 1990, Stephen Walker and a number of other Celtic designers independently incorporated the heart into the knotwork tradition, weaving it into the continuous interlaced forms that define Celtic jewelry. The popularity of the Claddagh ring, with its heart, crown, and hands, helped make heart-knotwork designs like this one equally sought after by men and women. Wearable on any finger, as a wedding band or a celebration of Celtic heritage.
