Handmade in our studio since 1984. Serviced by the same hands.
Walker Metalsmiths guarantees all new jewelry created in our studio for one year from the date of purchase. Repairs covered under our warranty within that year will be provided by a Walker Metalsmiths trained jeweler at no additional charge. Repairs not covered by this guarantee, or repairs needed after one year, may carry an additional cost, always agreed upon with the customer before work begins.
What Is Covered
- Side or halo stones in rings lost due to defect
- Checking and tightening prongs
- Cleaning and polishing from normal wear
- Repair to chains or bales damaged through normal wear
- Defects due to manufacture
What Is Not Covered
- Damage during strenuous activity: sports, construction, gardening
- Exposure to caustic chemicals or chlorinated water
- Damage to center stones: chips, discoloration, scratches
- Any damage resulting from abusive wear
- Accidental loss of the piece
Any repair made to Walker Metalsmiths jewelry by another jeweler at the customer's request voids this guarantee; any expense associated with that repair is the customer's responsibility.
We strongly recommend insuring fine jewelry through a verified agent. Our guarantee covers manufacturing defects and repair from normal wear; insurance covers loss, theft, and accidental damage, the things no guarantee can replace.

How do I send my jewelry in for repair?
Contact us at (800) 488-6347 or service@walkermetalsmiths.com before mailing. We'll provide shipping instructions and a tracking number.
What if my jewelry needs repair after the one-year guarantee?
We service all Walker Metalsmiths jewelry for life. After one year, there may be a nominal fee depending on the repair. We'll always quote before proceeding.
Do you resize rings?
Yes. The first resize within 90 days is free for rings purchased from us. Contact us for pricing on subsequent resizes or on rings not originally made by Walker Metalsmiths.
