Celtic Horse Belt Buckle in Sterling Silver
The horse held a place of honor in Celtic tradition, celebrated through art and legend across Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. This sterling silver belt buckle renders a galloping horse in the sinuous zoomorphic style of early Celtic art: its curved body surrounded by spiral ornament and knotwork, the continuous interlace flowing around the form as it does in illuminated manuscripts and high crosses. A polished rectangular frame holds the composition, raised silver rising from darkened recesses to give the design depth and presence.

Handcrafted in sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Fits 1-inch belt. Approximately 2 x 1 1/2 in (50 x 36mm). Original design by Stephen Walker.

1-year craftsmanship warranty on all Walker Metalsmiths jewelry. Within the first year, we cover manufacturing defects, prong checks, polishing, chain repairs, and normal-wear fixes at no charge.
After the first year, we still service every piece we've ever made; a small fee may apply depending on the repair. All work is done by our own jewelers in Andover, NY.
Not covered: damage from chemicals, chlorine, high-impact use, abusive wear, center-stone damage, or accidental loss.
Store pieces in a clean, dry, closed location (jewelry box, bag, or pouch) to slow tarnishing and prevent scratches.
For sterling silver, lightly wipe with a polishing cloth like the Sunshine Polishing Cloth. For gold, use jewelry-cleaning solutions following manufacturer instructions.
Remove jewelry before swimming, sports, gardening, or using household chemicals. Apply lotions and perfumes before putting jewelry on, not after.
