Early Christian Celtic Cross Pendant in Sterling Silver
The Celtic cross unites Christian faith with a centuries-old artistic heritage, making it one of the most enduring symbols in Irish and Scottish culture. This Early Christian design carries the distinctive form of decorated crosses carved in stone and illuminated in manuscripts across Ireland and Scotland from the 7th century onward. Flowing scroll spirals fill each arm of the cross, their graceful curves echoing the ornamental vocabulary of that era. Antiqued recesses deepen the relief, giving the raised silverwork warmth and dimension.
