The Galoglach - the elite Gaelic mercenary warriors who served across Ireland and Scotland from the 13th through 16th centuries - lend their name to this substantial Celtic knot ring. An oval gemstone sits bezel-set at the center, framed by Celtic knotwork within a stylized thistle outline. Available with your choice of Iona Bloodstone, Connemara Marble, Amethyst, or Garnet, in sizes 4 to 16.
MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Handcrafted in sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. An original design by Stephen Walker. The stones carry their own geographic connections to Celtic heritage: Iona Bloodstone from the Isle of Iona, Scotland, and Connemara Marble from the west of Ireland.
