Narrow Pictish Key Pattern Ring in Sterling Silver
Key patterns are the angular counterpart to Celtic knotwork: where knotwork uses flowing curves and interlaced strands, key patterns move in sharp right-angle turns, creating a continuous geometric maze that never crosses itself. This narrow 5mm band carries a Pictish key pattern around its full circumference, drawn from the same tradition of carved stonework and manuscript art that flourished in early medieval Scotland. At 5mm, it sits cleanly as a standalone ring or stacks well alongside a plain band or wedding ring.

Handcrafted in sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. An original design by Stephen Walker. Each ring is cast using the lost wax method and hand finished in our Andover, NY studio. 5mm wide.
