Queensland Boulder Opal Matrix Pendant
Queensland boulder opal is among the rarest gemstones in the world, formed within ironstone host rock deep in the Australian outback. This genuine 9.08ct stone displays the dramatic play of color that makes boulder opal so prized: blues, purples, and warm gold tones shifting across the matrix as the light changes. No two stones are alike, and the natural ironstone matrix that runs through this piece is its own. The pendant is bezel set in sterling silver, with a Celtic Starlight knot bail and 18k yellow gold granule accents at the setting transition.

Handcrafted in sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Genuine 9.08ct Queensland boulder opal matrix stone. Starlight knot bail with 18k yellow gold accents. Measures 1 1/2" (38mm) tall by 1/2" (12mm) wide. Includes an 18" medium rolo chain.

1-year craftsmanship warranty on all Walker Metalsmiths jewelry. Within the first year, we cover manufacturing defects, prong checks, polishing, chain repairs, and normal-wear fixes at no charge.
After the first year, we still service every piece we've ever made; a small fee may apply depending on the repair. All work is done by our own jewelers in Andover, NY.
Not covered: damage from chemicals, chlorine, high-impact use, abusive wear, center-stone damage, or accidental loss.
Store pieces in a clean, dry, closed location (jewelry box, bag, or pouch) to slow tarnishing and prevent scratches.
For sterling silver, lightly wipe with a polishing cloth like the Sunshine Polishing Cloth. For gold, use jewelry-cleaning solutions following manufacturer instructions.
Remove jewelry before swimming, sports, gardening, or using household chemicals. Apply lotions and perfumes before putting jewelry on, not after.
