The Aurora of Cailleach Pendant

Cailleach (Kal-ach) is the Celtic Goddess of Winter. Often depicted as a one-eyed old woman with a staff, dressed in a grey cloak or white tattered cloth. She brings the cold and ice, ensuring the Solstice is on time- preparing the Earth for new life and growth in the Spring.

This Pendant was inspired by the Norse Celtic myth of the battle between the Oak King, and the Holly King. When Winter arrives, it signifies the victory of the Holly King.

Set in a Custom Sterling Silver Bezel, the center set Moonstone is wreathed in details of 14K White and Rose Gold, as well as 18K Yellow Gold. Within the details are settings of Blue Diamond, Ruby, Tsavorite Garnets, and Blue Zircon.

A legend given form, this pendant is truly one of a kind. Crafted by John McHenry, this pendant comes on an 18" Rolo Chain.
