Ardagh Knot Pendants
These rectangular knotwork panels draw their pattern and technique from the knots around the stem of the Ardagh Chalice, one of the greatest Celtic treasures of the early Irish Church. The chip-carved interlace fills each panel with densely woven knotwork, every strand passing over and under in continuous, unbroken movement. Available in two sizes: the large pendant is a tall vertical panel, while the small is a compact square.
