Key patterns are the angular, rectilinear counterpart to Celtic knotwork's flowing curves, both sharing continuous, unbroken movement. A central gemstone marks the compass center: choose amethyst, garnet, or Connemara marble. Deep antiquing in the recessed channels brings out the complexity of the key pattern detail.
