Mother's Knot Pendant in Sterling Silver
An original Walker Metalsmiths design celebrating the eternal bond between mother and child. Three symbols are woven into a single graceful form: an abstract figure of a mother cradling her child, a trinity knot (triquetra) representing the Holy Trinity or the three generations of women, and an infinity knot passing through both figures for the never-ending love a mother holds for her children. The open, pierced construction gives the pendant an airy, delicate quality that wears close and quiet. Measures 1" (26mm) tall by 11/16" (17mm) wide.
MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Handcrafted in .925 sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Original design by our craftsman Lyndsay B., cast using the lost wax method from a master model hand-pierced from sterling silver sheet, a companion piece to Stephen Walker's Father's Knot. Also available in 14K gold. Shown on a cable chain (sold separately). A meaningful gift or keepsake for new mothers and grandmothers.
