Large St. Brigid's Wellspring Cross
The St. Brigid's Wellspring Cross honors the legend of Saint Brigid (Mary of the Gael), born in the mid-5th century. Tradition tells that Brigid wove the first Saint Brigid's cross from rushes while keeping vigil by her dying father's bedside in prayer. This pendant reimagines that tradition in sterling silver: four flared arms each hold a bold open spiral that curls inward, interlocking at the center where the arms meet. Antiqued recesses give depth and contrast to the raised silver.

Handcrafted in sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Original design by Stephen Walker. 33mm height × 29mm width (1 5/16" × 1 1/8").
