The Gold Stylized St. Brigid Cross Pendant is named for Saint Brigid (Mary of the Gael) born in the mid 5th century. The legend goes that before her father's death; Brigid sat by him in prayer, whiling away the time by weaving the first Saint Brigid cross from the rushes strewn about the floor.
